To mark World Autism Awareness Month in April 2025, SOCAR Midstream Gas Operations, in partnership with the “Together and Healthy” Public Union, hosted a series of three inclusive events promoting understanding and inclusion.
Held at Kashalata, Azerbaijan’s first inclusive café renovated with the support of SOCAR and its SCPC partners, these events offered a safe and welcoming environment for individuals with autism and their families. The café fosters social integration through professional training, life skills development, and employment opportunities.
The initiative began on April 2, World Autism Awareness Day, and continued with two additional events featuring music, art, and storytelling. These activities brought together SOCAR Midstream Gas Operations employees, SOCAR representatives, partners, and community members, creating opportunities for creative expression and open dialogue on inclusion.
Through this initiative, SOCAR Midstream Gas Operations reinforces its commitment to building a society where everyone has the opportunity to participate, contribute, and thrive.
