Ramil Heydarov was born in 1985 in Baku, Azerbaijan. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Finance and Credit from the Azerbaijan State University of Economics in 2007 and 2009.

He began his career in the financial sector, and between 2008 and 2022 worked at Access Bank, Ernst & Young, and PASHA Holding, primarily in assurance and audit services. He also served as an audit committee member for PASHA Bank and Kapital Bank for several years.

He joined SOCAR in 2022. Since 2023, he has served as Head of the Risk Management Department at SOCAR Head Office, leading the Risk and Insurance functions. Member of Board of Directors of SOCAR Midstream Gas Operations since April 1, 2025.
